Mountville Baseball has a long and successful history at all age levels and our experienced coaching staffs focus heavily on player development.
Any child who lives in the Hempfield School District is eligible to register for Mountville Baseball.
Mountville Baseball offers an IB (Instructional Baseball) and Tball programs during the spring and fall seasons.

IB & Tball Info:
About IB Baseball:
The IB program is primarily geared towards beginner players between 6-10 years old and focuses on player development.
Spring IB teams are typically announced in Mid-March and will begin team practices shortly there after. Spring IB teams normally practice 3-4 times per week for the first few weeks (until games start), then it may become approximately 1-2 practices per week plus 1-2 games that same week. Spring IB commitments primarily fall on weekdays but Saturday practices or games (rain dates) are possible. Typically the Spring IB season runs from Mid-March through Mid-June.
Fall IB teams are typically announced in Mid-August and will begin team practices shortly there after. Fall IB teams normally practice 3-4 times per week for the first few weeks (until games start), then it may become approximately 2-3 practices per week plus 1-2 games on Friday night. Fall IB commitments primarily fall on weekdays but Saturday practices or games (rain dates) are possible. Typically the Fall IB Baseball season runs from Mid-August through the end of October.
Equipment needed for IB: Baseball Bat (any bat is acceptable), Baseball Glove, Baseball Pants are suggested (for games and practices) but athletic/sweat pants are acceptable, Baseball Cleats are suggested (for games and practices) but sneakers are acceptable, plus a Batting Helmet with a full metal face guard is suggested (but shared team helmets with a face guard are available too).
About Tball Baseball:

Spring Tball commitments primarily fall on weekdays but Saturday practices or games (rain dates) are possible. Typically the Spring Tball season runs from Mid-March through Mid-June.

- 03/07/26 - Baseball Field Clean Up Day at 8:00am until finished (Rain Date 03/14/26)

- Mid-March - Spring IB and Tball Teams are typically announced and practices begin as soon as possible

- 04/11/26 - Baseball Opening Day at 9:00am until 1:00pm @ Froelich Park (Rain Date 04/12/26 1:00pm until 5:00pm)
- 04/13/26 (Tentative Date) - Start of the Spring Season (Games Begin)
- 04/17/26 thru 04/19/26 - Mountville Hosted 10u2 and 10u3 Tournament
- 04/24/26 - Opening Night at the Lancaster Stormers!
- 04/25/26 - Mountville Baseball Picture Day @ Mountville Elementary School
- 05/01/26 thru 05/03/26 - Mountville Hosted 14u1 and 14u2 Tournament
- 05/10/26 thru 05/17/26 - Mountville Carnival at Froelich Park (no baseball activities at Froelich Park)
- 05/23/26 - Mountville Memorial Day Parade - All players are invited to participate, line up at Mountville Elementary at 9:30am. The parade route is not a loop, it ends at Froelich Park. Transportation will be available to bring participants back to the Elementary School, OR arrange for personal transportation back from Froelich Park.

- 06/4/26 thru 06/7/26 - (Tentative) IB End of Year Tournament @ Mountville Elementary and Veterans Memorial Park
