MYAA 2026 Fall Baseball

Welcome to Mountville Baseball!

All families choosing to register for MYAA 2026 Fall Baseball will be required to register through this online portal. Please review the updated MYAA Age Chart before selecting a registration division for enrolling a player.

MYAA Baseball WILL be offering a "Tball" division again this fall season. Experienced Tball players are encouraged to register for the "IB" division if they meet the minimum age requirements.

Experienced "IB" players are encouraged to register for the "10u" division if they meet the minimum age requirements.

MYAA does NOT hold player evaluations for any levels of the fall program, players will be placed on the appropriate team based on their Spring season performance and/or feedback from their coaches. MYAA will hold player evaluations (at the travel baseball and IB levels) again prior to the next Spring season.

Also, while completing the registration process, please consider volunteering your time by selecting an option in the volunteer selection (Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Umpire, Team Mom). MYAA is entirely run by volunteers; we are extremely thankful for all of those who assist in various ways but we can always use some additional help!

MYAA does not have uniform fittings during the fall baseball season. Please select a size for a hat and jersey for your player when you get to that required portion of the registration. You will also be required to provide a first, second, and third option for your player's jersey number. You may review the updated MYAA Hat and Jersey Size Chart or we also recommend checking your player(s) hat and jersey size from the previous season. Reminder, MYAA does NOT provide pants for player's uniforms; players should wear standard white baseball pants (without any stripes) for all games.

If you are volunteering for a Head/Assistant Coach position, then please ensure that you select a hat and jersey size as well. All coaching selections will be determined after registrations have closed.

Please check out our website for additional info about all Mountville Baseball programs (at each age level) and tentative dates for all events: Click Here

MYAA Baseball can not guarantee roster positions if you have not completed the online registration process within the time frame posted. Your registration is not complete unless you have received a confirmation email from the registration website. ***Please be aware that the website now charges a $3 transaction fee which will be added to each order.***

Scholarship opportunities are available for families in need of financial assistance. Please contact us DURING the online registration period for financial assistance if needed.

Welcome to Mountville Football!

Mountville Football places its strongest emphasis on player development, not just winning games. Skill-building is prioritized at every age level, with a focus on proper technique, football IQ, and safe, age‑appropriate fundamentals. MYAA’s coaches are 100% volunteer, experienced, and deeply committed to youth development. They teach the game the right way, build confidence, and serve as positive mentors on and off the field.

Our program participates in the Capital Area Football League (CFA), the largest youth football league in Pennsylvania. Originally founded as an independent Catholic football league made up of former CYO programs in the Harrisburg area, the CFA is now widely recognized for its organized structure, consistent officiating, and commitment to helping players grow as athletes and individuals. Teams are grouped so players compete against others with similar size and skill, keeping games fun, competitive, and development‑focused. This balanced approach reduces lopsided outcomes and creates an environment where every athlete can succeed.

MYAA values the CFA for its higher level of competition than other leagues. Defenses are more disciplined, offenses are more explosive, and very few teams can be beaten on talent alone. This elevated level of play challenges our athletes, accelerates their development, and prepares them for future success at the high school and college levels.

**Any child is eligible to play Mountville Football, regardless of which school district they attend.**

Divisions:

Smurfs (Ages 5–7)
An introductory level focused on fun, fundamentals, and teamwork. Players learn the basics of running, catching, throwing, tackling, and proper stance in a safe, encouraging environment. The primary goal is building confidence and developing a genuine love for the game.

Peewees (Ages 8–9)
Players begin developing stronger fundamentals and a clearer understanding of game concepts. Emphasis is placed on proper technique, teamwork, sportsmanship, and learning basic offensive and defensive positions. Competition increases slightly at this level, while player development remains the top priority.

Ponies (ages 10-11)
Players at this stage advance their football IQ and sharpen their individual skills. Practices emphasize position‑specific development, understanding game strategy, learning blocking schemes, and recognizing defensive alignments. Athletes gain increased game experience and begin preparing for the expectations, speed, and structure of middle school–level play.

Midgets (Ages 12-13)
Players at this level are prepared for the expectations, speed, and physicality of high school football. Training emphasizes advanced techniques, improved strength and conditioning, and a deeper understanding of both offensive and defensive schemes. The core focus becomes discipline, leadership, and accountability, helping athletes mature as players and teammates while building the habits needed for success at the next level.
