MYAA Parents, we are excited to begin the 2024 spring baseball season on Monday 1/29 with Travel Player Evaluations! Thank you for being a part of the Mountville organization and for everything that you do to support your player and MYAA.

This is a reminder that our annual Travel Parents Meeting is coming up on Saturday 1/27.

Please read this entire message, below there is some important information about the Travel Parents Meeting and Travel Player Evaluations.


Parents Meeting:

• The 14u parents meeting begins at 9am
• The 12u parents meeting begins at 10am
• The 10u parents meeting begins at 11am
• This meeting is mandatory for all Travel Baseball Parents.
• The meeting will be held at the Heritage Hotel (in the Chapter House conference room, on the 1st floor)
• The address is: 500 Centerville Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601
• There is parking available in front of the building (at the Hotel Entrance) and at the side of the building (near Loxley's Restaurant).
• Please use the front Hotel Entrance and follow signs to the Charter House conference room (on the 1st floor).

Player Waivers:
The following waivers must be completed prior to Player Evaluations (on 1/29)... If you have multiple players then you must complete each waiver multiple times (once for each player).

• Facility Waiver: N/A This Year
• On the waiver, please ensure that you enter "Mountville Baseball" in the team/event section of the form.
• 12u1 ONLY - Indians Consent: https://form.jotform.com/240244001686145
• The Indians form is designed to determine if we may evaluate each 12u player for the 12u Section 1 Mountville Indians team, based on the level of player commitment and the coaching philosophy of the Indians team. We must receive a submission for each 12u player.

Player Evaluations:
Also, this is a reminder that our annual Travel Player Evaluations begin on Monday 1/29.

Volunteers Needed:

Travel Baseball Players should bring/wear the following to Evaluations:

• Baseball Hat
• Sneakers (no cleats, this is an indoor facility)
• Baseball Pants are recommended
• Baseball Glove
• Baseball Bat
• Baseball Helmet
• A drink!

Travel Baseball Player Team Announcements:

After Player Evaluations, the next contact that your family will receive from MYAA will be from your Spring Season Head Coach... We take the Player Evaluation process very serious and our goal is to place every player on the correct spring team for them to continue to develop and grow as a player. MYAA puts a ton of time and resources into our evaluation process to ensure that it is fair and consistent for all players.

It typically takes 2 or more weeks for MYAA to review all the evaluation scores, identify head coaches, and then create team rosters. We do NOT announce teams at any age level until after all the teams at that age level have been finalized. 10u and 12u teams will be announced on the same day, normally in February. 14u teams will be announced on a different day (in March), after the Hempfield High School Baseball team is announced.

This is a reminder that our annual IB/Tball Parents Meeting is coming up on Saturday 2/25/23 (Tentative Date).

Please read this entire message, below there is some important information about the IB/Tball Parents Meeting and IB Player Evaluations.


Parents Meeting:

• The IB/Tball parents meeting begins at 11am (Tentative Time)
• This meeting is for all IB/Tball parents
• The meeting will be held at the West Hempfield Fire Hall
• The address is: 3476 Marietta Ave, Lancaster, PA 17601
• There is parking available at the side of the building (near the Township Office entrance) and behind the building.
• The entrance to the "Fire Hall" room is on the backside of the building, near the fire station garage doors on the back of the building.

Covid-19:
MYAA is continuing to monitor the Covid-19 pandemic and we are adjusting our Baseball Safety Plan as needed. We currently have multiple plans prepared for the start of the spring season to ensure that we can safely accomplish our goals. Our Covid-19 policies/plan may change at any time in order to ensure the health and safety of our participants.
