Welcome to Mountville Baseball!

Thank you for considering Mountville Baseball for your player and family!

Mountville Baseball has a long and successful history at all age groups and our experienced coaching staffs focus heavily on player development at all skill levels.

Mountville Baseball started in 1954 and is 1 of the 23 organizations in the Lancaster County Youth Baseball League (LCYBL). The LCYBL has 3 skill levels (section 1, 2 & 3) at each age group (14u, 12u, & 10u). We drive our coaches to develop athletes mentally and physically at all levels to prepare them for wherever their athletic career may lead them in the future. We love to see our Mountville athletes transition from youth sports to the high school and put their talents to use (in baseball or other sports).

In the past 9 years, Mountville Baseball teams from all the various age groups and skill levels have won 27 League Championships and an additional 23 teams finished as the Championship Runner-Up (we have captured over 37% of the league championships during those years). The true measure of our success though, are the countless athletes that have transitioned to the high school and been successful (not only in baseball, but in various sports) with the foundation that we helped them build.

Any child who lives in the Hempfield School District is eligible to register for Mountville Baseball.

Thank you for considering Mountville Baseball for your player and family! Mountville Baseball has a long and successful history at all age levels and our experienced coaching staffs focus heavily on player development.

Any child who lives in the Hempfield School District is eligible to register for Mountville Baseball.

Mountville Baseball is part of the Lancaster County Youth Baseball League.

Mountville Baseball Offers:
  • Winter Workouts at the 14u, 12u, & 10u levels
  • Spring Travel Baseball programs at the 14u, 12u, & 10u levels
  • Spring IB (Instructional Baseball) program
  • Spring Tball program
  • Fall Travel Baseball programs at the 14u, 12u, & 10u levels
  • Fall IB (Instructional Baseball) program

Winter Workouts are held for the 14u, 12u, & 10u Travel Baseball levels (for 4 weeks prior to the travel player evaluations) to help players prepare. Please come join us and allow your player(s) an opportunity to sharpen their skills before evaluations!

The 14u, 12u, & 10u Travel Baseball programs are geared towards older players but we have teams at each age level that can accommodate any level of experience (even first time players). The Travel Baseball program focuses on both winning and player development. The IB (Instructional Baseball) program is primarily geared towards beginner players between 6-9 years old and focuses on player development. The Tball program is primarily geared towards beginner players between 4-6 years old and focuses on introducing players to the basics of the game of baseball.

Baseball Registration Dates:
  • Winter Workout registrations start on November 11, 2024 and end on January 17, 2025
  • Spring Travel Baseball registrations start on December 4, 2024 and end on January 19, 2025
  • Spring IB/Tball registrations start on December 4, 2024 and end on February 23, 2025

All registrations will need to be completed through our online portal. If you wish to register a player after the posted deadline, please email us at [email protected] to request any available openings at your players age level. MYAA can NOT guarantee openings at any age level after the registration deadline.

All players/parents will be contacted by their Head Coach AFTER registrations have ended AND teams have been selected. Please allow a few weeks for teams to be divided and coaches to be selected. No team/player placements will be communicated until after all teams at that age level have been finalized.

MYAA will NOT offer any refunds after a registration has been completed, no exceptions.

MYAA 2025 Spring Baseball

Welcome to Mountville Baseball!

All families choosing to register for MYAA 2025 Spring Baseball will be required to register through this online portal. Please review the updated MYAA Age Chart before selecting a registration division for enrolling a player.


Experienced "IB" and "Tball" players are encouraged to register for the next division up (such as 10u or IB respectively) if they meet the minimum age requirements. Prior to the spring season, MYAA does hold player evaluations at the travel baseball and IB levels and players will be placed in the program (Travel, IB, or Tball) that best suits their individual skill level. After player evaluations, if any player is moved back to IB/Tball then a refund for the difference in registration fees would be provided.

Also, while completing the registration process, please consider volunteering your time by selecting an option in the volunteer selection (Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Umpire, Team Mom). MYAA is entirely run by volunteers; we are extremely thankful for all of those who assist in various ways but we can always use some additional help!

  • We offer on-going support during the season to anyone interested in volunteering to coach. If you feel motivated to volunteer (regardless of your prior coaching or baseball experience), then please select an option during the registration process. We are especially interested in identifying additional coaches at the IB and Tball levels to help guide our youngest athletes and to possibly progress to coaching at the travel level as their player gets older.

MYAA will not have uniform fittings during the spring baseball season. Please select a size for a hat and jersey for your player when you get to that required portion of the registration. You will also be required to provide a first, second, and third option for your player's jersey number. You may review the updated MYAA Hat and Jersey Size Chart or we also recommend checking your player(s) hat and jersey size from the previous season. Reminder, MYAA does NOT provide pants for player's uniforms; players should wear standard white baseball pants (without any stripes) for all games.

MYAA is currently looking at potential solutions for our spring Parents Meetings which are tentatively scheduled for the below dates/times. Additional information about both the Mandatory Travel Parents Meeting and the IB/Tball Parents Meeting will be distributed as we get closer to each date.

After the spring player evaluations have ended, your next communication about the spring season will come from your Head Coach. Generally it takes us a couple weeks to form teams and designate coaches, prior to you receiving our next communication, thank you for your patience!

LCYBL (Lancaster County Youth Baseball League) guidelines dictate age limits at the 14u, 12u, and 10u age levels. Only players at the 10u level may be younger than the LCYBL guidelines (as outlined on the MYAA Age Chart). Some younger players will have the option to register in multiple programs based on their age. Parents should determine their players skill level (when multiple programs are available) and register them in the program that will best fits that player. If you are unsure of which program to register in (and you have more than one option) please contact us for help determining the correct placement at [email protected].

MYAA Baseball can not guarantee roster positions if you have not completed the online registration process within the time frame posted. Your registration is not complete unless you have received a confirmation email from the registration website.

Winter Workouts

Each session will be 1 hour and 20 minutes in length. MYAA will provide each player an opportunity to prepare for the upcoming spring season in both batting and fielding with experienced coaches.
